Stef DiFranco and Bad Manners On Tour

Just made it here to the French Quarter in New Orleans. Long through the night drive, but done brilliantly by Mike and Yosi who are taking great care of us. Johnny has been providing us with renditions of beach boys songs in the dark.

It's amazing to still see the devastation down here. It's hard to believe we are/were the richest nation in the world, and we let people live like this.

Just took a shower, NO hot water, it was freezing, but I did it. I am heading out shortly to wander around the district, have a beer or two and soak up the sun.
